Update on General Rule Package

by Minnesota Board of Pharmacy on Thursday, 09 June 2011 at 10:56

The Office of Administrative Hearings has provided the Board with the post-hearing reports of the Administrative Law Judge and Chief Administrative law judge.  Those reports can be accessed at: http://www.phcybrd.state.mn.us/rules/ALJ11.pdf.  The Board has asked the Office of the Revisor to prepare what should be the final version of the proposed rule changes.  That final draft, plus the Board’s Order Adopting Rules, will be presented to the Chief Administrative Law Judge for approval. After that approval is received, the Order will be published in the State Register.  The rules will be effective five business days after the publication of the Order (except for those parts that have delayed effective dates).  The Board recommends that all licensees and registrants regularly check the “Statutes, Rules and Guidelines” area of the Board’s Web site for additional updates. This package of rule changes affects many different areas of pharmacy practice – as well as licensure of drug wholesalers and manufacturers.
