How can the public request that the Board look at the scientific merits of Cannabis? A petition? Look at the Montana Board of Pharmacy’s most recent newsletter.

    Kurt Hanna ‎”Various therapeutic indications have been attributed to marijuana and they fall into five general categories:
    1. Severe nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy
    and other causes;
    2. Weight loss associated with debilitating illness including
    HIV infection and cancer;
    3. Spasticity associated with neurologic illnesses;
    4. Pain syndromes; and
    5. Other uses, such as glaucoma.”

    Roy Sandy SandströmDuring the shut down I wonder how many MN cancer patients used weed for their nausea & pain? Pharamcy “leaders” are behind the times, and weed is so safe you’d never see any black box warning on it.

The Board’s Web site: www.pharmacy.state.mn.us is now operational. Also, a plan is in place to restore Prescription Monitoring Program operations by Wednesday, July 27th. Please check the PMP Web site at www.pmp.pharmacy.state.mn.us for status updates on that program.
